The Rails Edge was incredible!

I just got home from the Rails Edge in Chicago and boy is my brain sore! I saw some great talks by Dave Thomas, Jim Weirich, Stuart Halloway, Justin Gehtland, Chad Fowler, Marcel Molina, Ezra Zygmuntowicz and David Chelimsky. There were some great talks on refactoring and testing as well as some incredible tips from both Jim and Dave. It will be days for I digest everything I learned. On top of all of the great talks, I also met some really great and interesting people. I will definitely be at the next one and hope to see you there!

Using Rails, tinyMCE and Ajax

tinyMCE is a fantastic WYSIWG html editor. It can be easily embedded with only a few minutes of configuration. Unfortunately, it's a little painful to use with Ajax. I'll walk you through some of the gotchas with their solutions inside.
